This episode is sure to leave a smile on your face and leave you feeling motivated to chase your dreams. This is the story of Lebelo Mosehle, a tennis player who's life has changed due to his passion and love for tennis paired with his determined discipline to succeed in life.
He started playing tennis at the age of 6 in Lesotho, Africa. His family of 5 lived off an $80 salary. Lebelo was first introduced to tennis when he would find stray balls at courts and sell them until finally the local coach encouraged him to try the sport; he was a natural. In this episode, Lebelo tells his story and elaborates on the adversities he's faced. From only getting one pair of shoes a year and playing barefoot and bloody, to arriving to the United States in the wrong city with $20 in his pocket, this man's story is inspiring! Now, he runs a Tennis Academy in Florida and encourages and inspires players of all ages to have fun and accomplish anything they dare to dream!

In this episode, we piece together two chats with Oakley Foy, co-founder of Racquet War, a destination tennis tournament weekend experience for players of all levels who love to compete and travel! Having recorded one part of this episode before the pandemic, Oakley explains all about his tournament weekends that take place all over the country while the other half of this episode is a check-in with Oakley to hear how Racquet War is back up and operating safely in 2021 providing tennis experiences for people who love to play tennis and make new friends!
Using a 'Waterfall Bracket' format, these weekends have been developed with the players in mind, allowing everyone to play with a partner of their choice; and their rankings just don't matter! Offering draws in Women’s and Mixed Doubles and not by division, players don’t have to worry about being forced to play up or down because there aren’t enough people in their division. Finally, all teams are guaranteed a minimum of four matches over the weekend.
Entering 2021, there have been over 4,000 unique Racquet War players and over 180 of those players have played in 5 or more events. The history of Racquet War continues to be written on a yearly basis, with not only a lot of great memories, but a multitude of great friendships.
